I with gladness returned to his ancestral fields. We are ashamed that we are unable to repay him. We have the honour to offer him this picture, the plane tree on which we have reverently fashioned. We dedicate a song of praise, saying: "Alas! Excelling was this paragon, like the fragrance of the plum tree's flower."
